JOBS AND VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES

We are always keen to hear from anyone who wants to help YPI Counselling by volunteering. There are many ways you can help whether you want to give a few hours per week, or just help on one off projects.

We have regular opportunities to get involved with the charity in a voluntary capacity ranging from being on the Board of Directors, to helping with administration. Alternatively, people of all ages are welcome to become a member of YPI and help us with fundraising or local engagement projects.

Volunteer Counselling and Training Opportunities

Fundraiser/Bid Writer:

Job description

YPI have an exciting opportunity for a Fundraiser/bid writer. We are looking for a highly organised person with bid writing experience, who has excellent relationship management and networking skills to join our small, friendly charity. This is a part-time position of up to 15-20 hours/week.

We offer a very flexible working policy.

Responsibilities of the job to support :

– Generate income through researching and writing bids for grant applications.

– To stimulate, encourage and support community based fundraising activities carried out on behalf of YPI,

– Liaise with and attend fundraising events

– To identify fundraising opportunities through raising awareness of YPI through networking events and talks,

– Develop links and find new supporters/sponsors with groups, including companies, schools and community organisations,

– Track fundraising income generated.

Desired Work Experience:

– Someone who can demonstrate experience in community fundraising and income generation initiatives,

– Excellent bid writing skills

– Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Flexible Working Options Available:

Part-time

Work remotely

Yes, but needs to be based in the Basingstoke area.

Pay: From £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
